First impressions are very important. As you enter our office you will see the sign “Welcome, we are glad you came” along with a warm smile of our office manager, Norma Medina. Norma has mastered the art of making our customers feel comfortable. We jokingly tell her that she should have been a psychologist and we should put a couch in her office. She came to help us part time with paperwork eight years ago and she could never finish the job.
George Mondragon, Shop Manager, has practically been born in the body shop. He started to help his dad at their family body shop when he was a teenager and worked in the industry in every capacity. George knows what it takes to repair the vehicle right the first time, which is in line with our shop's philosophy and is patient enough to explain details of the repair process to our customers.
Abel Perez has been the lead body man for Burbank Body Shop for the last fifteen years. You can set your watch by Abel's arrival to work exactly at seven thirty am every morning. He has 30 years of experience and a work ethic beyond comparison. But his main asset is that he likes his job and he is always in a good mood which is contagious.
Igor Frank has been in the body shop business since graduating from San Francisco State University in 1987. From washing cars and delivering parts to writing estimates and managing the shop, Igor has been actively involved in every aspect of this business.
Igor gets to work at 6:30 am every morning, an hour and a half before the work begins. He goes inside the spray booth to inspect the paint job left there from the night before. Twenty years later, he still likes the smell of fresh paint and the feel of paint sprayed smoothly on the vehicle. It is that kind of passion that is transmitted to customers and employees that makes Burbank Body Shop a successful business.
